SOUTH EL MONTE (CBSLA.com) — A motorcyclist was killed Wednesday after colliding with a big rig on the Pomona (60) Freeway in South El Monte.
The accident occurred at 6:42 p.m. near Peck Road, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A SigAlert was issued for three eastbound lanes, officials said. All lanes were reopened by 10:15 p.m.

The Los Angeles County Coroner was called to the scene.
